Nicki Minaj vs Taylor SwiftThe Taylor Swift – Nicki Minaj feud may be over but not without one person learning from the whole messy situation.

During an interview with British magazine, NME, Swift admitted the fight was baseless… If only she had just communicated better, there won’t be any fight in the first place. Secondly, she’s pledged to keep her bitterness off social media!

“I don’t want to talk about it,” Swift, 25, told the publication in a new interview. “But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone’s management, I get their number and I text them.”

Like we earlier reported, the drama began when Minaj, 32, tweeted about not being nominated in MTV’s Video of the Year category for the VMAs, noting the show would “celebrate women with very slim bodies.” Swift, who was nominated for her “Blank Space” music video, took offense and publicly responded. The two ladies were able to bury the hatchet and eventually appeared on stage to open the show in late August — but not before their little misunderstanding made headlines worldwide.

“It’s an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015,” Swift added of the dangers of social media.

But it seems the queen of the squad is a pro at making amends. After Kanye West infamously interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech in 2009, Swift has been able to work things out with the rapper and is even spending some time with Kim Kardashian’s husband.

“Me and Kanye are on such good terms now,” she said. “It took a while… But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he’s saying and he goes, ‘What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.’ I said, ‘It’s Beck, it’s on an album called Morning Phase, I think you’ve heard of it…'”

“We just burst out laughing. And he says, ‘Hey, sometimes I’m wrong,'” Swift said of the self-proclaimed 2020 presidential candidate.
