Most of the deceased victims of the bomb blast are students and workers at the institution.

The students as identified by their parents who were at the mortuary to claim corpses include; Najib Abdullahi (23), Salim Danladi (26), Rabiu Ibrahim Musa (23) and Garba Danladi (24), all from Kano State.

A 17-year-old victim, Nafiu Musa Gwarzo who narrated how it all happened, said they went to complain to the provost of the school over the shoddy practices in the issuance of admission letters when the explosion occurred.

“When the provost, Dr. Ado H. Bello, entered the school, we rushed to him in order to complain over the difficulties we are facing in collecting admission letters. It was on our way to where he parked his car that the bomb exploded,” he said.

Another bereaved relation, Harisu Lawal who went to claim the corpse of Najib Abdullahi who hailed from Gwarzo LGA of Kano State, prayed Allah to pay the perpetrators of the blast in the same coin. According to him, late Najib was also in the school to collect his admission letter.
