Dancehall star, Patoranking who is placed alongside Runtown, Orezi, Skales and pop singer, Yemi Alade in the Next rated category of prestigious award, ‘The Headies’ has the chance to win a car this year.
One of the afore mentioned artistes is set to go home with the 2014 Hyundai ix35 SUV worth £17,000 (N4.5M) for emerging the winner of the Next Rated category.
The Next Rated category, arguably the most famous and keenly contested category in the Headies Awards, is meant to spotlight the next artiste to make a mark in the mainstream.
It is one of the pioneer categories created when the Headies, formerly known as Hip Hop World Awards, was established in 2006 and has been won by the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Sean Tizzle in the past.
